Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ryn Health platform, including our website, web application, and messaging integrations (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Ryn Health Inc. ("Ryn," "we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using the Service.

1. The Service

Ryn is an AI-powered personal health coaching platform. The Service provides personalized coaching conversations, health data tracking, biomarker analysis, structured programs, and wellness insights delivered through our web application, Telegram bot, and WhatsApp integration.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

2. Eligibility and Account

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hi@rynhealth.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscription and Billing

Access to the full Ryn Service requires a paid subscription.

• Price: $29.00 CAD per month.
• Free trial: New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period.
• Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly on the anniversary of your subscription start date. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until that date and will not be charged for subsequent periods.
• Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Share your account credentials with any other person. Accounts are for individual use only.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works from the Service.
• Transmit any harmful, abusive, or offensive content.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or the servers or networks connected to it.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose other than your own personal health coaching.
• Attempt to access any other user's data or account.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any user who violates these terms, including suspension or termination of their account.

5. Health Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal and health data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

You grant Ryn Health Inc. a limited, non-exclusive license to use your health data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. You retain ownership of your data at all times.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, design, text, graphics, and AI-generated content, is owned by Ryn Health Inc. and protected by Canadian and international intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our express written permission.

Coaching content generated by the AI during your sessions may be used for your personal health and wellness purposes.

7. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in abusive behaviour toward our systems or other users, or for any other reason we deem appropriate. In the event of termination for cause, you will not receive a refund.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including limitation of liability and governing law.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. AI-generated coaching content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or not appropriate for your specific situation. Always verify health-related information with a qualified professional.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RYN HEALTH INC. AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN PARTICULAR, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY HEALTH DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON COACHING CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE. THE SERVICE IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE, AND WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY FOR HARM ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED HEALTH COACHING WITHOUT INDEPENDENT PROFESSIONAL VERIFICATION.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
